Yep, I completely agree that Hmong people are the Native Americans in China. China was the oppressors of the Hmong people. Just like the Europeans was the oppressors of the Native Americans. Same histories different parts of the world.
Pretty much. And Hmong people weren’t the only ones being oppressed in China, other ethnic groups were too.
@Nouchia Moua. I believe the other ethnic groups were actually from the same people as the Hmongs, but was divided from the oppression. So therefore, you could probably think they were other ethnic groups. But that is just my take on it, Because you have other groups around the Hmongs, that have very much same or similar stories and customs as to the Hmong. So i always thought it could be, they come from the same line but was divided from the oppression.
There are 56 different ethnic groups in China and many of them has also been oppressed by the Chinese, not just the Hmong alone. Some of the ethnic groups oppressed were even Muslims like the Hui people and they started the Dungan Revolt.
To me it seems like the 56 different ethnic groups in China are just like the 500 different tribes of the Native Americans in the USA.
