Hosted by Widening the Circle Indigenous Education Institute, this event fostered understanding, cultural exchange, and collaboration on critical issues like language revitalization and education reform.

The symposium featured over 40 workshops with influential speakers, such as Tou Saiko Lee and Kabzuag Vang, and celebrated Indigenous arts through hip-hop and spoken word performances. Key topics included historical trauma, education inequities, and strategies for building inclusive curriculums.

Widening the Circle highlighted the shared challenges of both communities, from educational barriers to cultural preservation, emphasizing the need for unity in addressing these concerns.
