Stand Up for Sovereignty: Oct 7 Proclaim & Oct 16 All Nations Unite

In honor of the anniversary of the Royal Proclamation of 1763, Idle No More is calling on all nations to rise in peaceful resistance.

#Oct7ProClaim marks a historic day to reaffirm Indigenous sovereignty, protect treaties, and resist the legislative erosion of Indigenous rights. Learn more and view the official poster here: View Oct 7 ProClaim Poster

But that’s not all. Following a powerful gathering of Treaty 6, 7, and 8 Chiefs in Edmonton from September 16–19, a second call to action has emerged:

#Oct16AllNationsUnite - This is a direct response to continued attacks on Indigenous sovereignty, treaty agreements, and the sacred relationship with the land. When Parliament returns, the chiefs urge all peoples on Turtle Island to protest, organize, and unite in mass numbers.

This is not just a call for Indigenous nations — it’s a call for everyone who values justice, land, water, and life. Let’s make our presence felt in the thousands — even millions.

Together, we can stand strong and protect what matters most.
