Miao Ethnic Group Celebrates New Year With Prayers And Tradition
In the heart of Longli County, nestled in the hills of southwest China’s Guizhou Province, the Miao ethnic group welcomes the new year with colorful celebration and deep-rooted spiritual traditions. On February 1, 2012, the community gathered for a folk activity to honor the changing season and offer prayers for an abundant harvest and happiness in the year ahead.
